Co-founder of Valor, Nico has been cutting men's hair since 2016, starting at 15 in his parents' garage barbershop. He specializes in men's styling, fading, tapering, and shear work — while making the time in his chair about you, not just your hair.

Co-founder and licensed cosmetologist since 2019. Ansley specializes in lived-in color, women's haircutting, styling, and hair health. As a mom of two, she understands how to meet people where they are.

Licensed since 2019, Mckennah creates lived-in looks for blondes and brunettes and does both men's and women's cuts. Professional, easygoing, and focused on helping clients leave feeling confident and uplifted.

Three years into his barbering career, Jhyro went from cutting in his garage to becoming a licensed barber. He loves connecting with clients, gives killer haircuts, and brings an awesome smile to the chair.

Valor isn't tucked inside a generic storefront. We're in a beautifully renovated Victorian home in downtown Vacaville — a space with character, history, and the kind of warmth you notice as soon as you walk through the door.
Original character meets thoughtful updates: warm wood, comfortable corners, natural texture, and a little bit of that old-home magic. It's unique because it feels like a place, not just a business.
